day 7

GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL at Arts Picture House

/diary

Today we met at 8.50 for school. Then we had two lessons with our language teachers. In the first lesson we had courses in the classrooms and in the second lesson we went outside to do a fieldwork about the shops in a street near the school. School ended at 12.15. For lunch everyone had to decide for himself/herself where and what to eat. But today we only had one and a quarter of an hour's time until the next meeting at 13.30.

In the afternoon our teachers had a great idea: We went to the cinema to watch a funny and exciting film called

"The Grand Budapest Hotel".  In this film there were a lot of famous actors like Owen Wilson and Lea Seydoux. It was about a history, where a man told a history about a man, who told sombody his history of his life. In fact, a history in a history in a history - very funny, isn't it? At about 16 o'clock the film ended and we had enough time to finish our fieldwork of jobs in Cambridge. Afterwards we got home for dinner and right now we are writing this report for exactly YOU. We hope that you know what we did today and we wish you a good evening.

On this day we met at 9 o'clock in the morning in school. We had 3 hours of lessons and after we were finished we had a 2 hour break. We had enough time for eating lunch, going shopping or just chilling. In the afternoon at about 2 o'clock we went to the cinema and watched 'The Grand Hotel Budapest'. The movie was hard to understand because they talked very fast and used (for us) unknown vocabulary. It was about the life of a lobby boy and how he became the owner of the hotel. The movie was about 2 hours long. We actually were planning to go punting that day but it seemed like the weather didn't want that. At 15.45 after the film was finished, we had freetime until dinner..
